5 days | WON AN HONORABLE MENTION AWARD

This project groups together a student from each grade level and is given one week to solve a design problem given to them by the professors. This particular one was sponsored by Interface flooring. The SS-MAOA is a correctional facility where high profile super villains, Dr. Doom, Green Goblin, Mad Hatter, and Bane will be held. The untraceable facility will be circulating the seven seas using its seven protractible arms surrounding the glass atrium to propel its self forward. The concept for the design was inspired by metamorphosis, where the villains will be guided through a journey of recovery and rehabilitation.

This project groups together a student from each grade level and is given one week to solve a design problem given to them by the professors. The goal was to redesign a concert hall on the Florida State campus that was inspired by a specific genre of classical music. Our piece was a modern quartet rendition. There was multiple layers of sounds with the peice which inspired the overlapping angular forms found throughout our design.
